Black ink is the most straightforward to treat, while green, light blue and some yellows are the most stubborn.
What determines the number of sessions
- Ink colour: black and dark blue respond most readily. Green, light blue, yellow and some reds are considerably harder.
- Ink density: heavily saturated professional work needs more sessions than a light amateur tattoo.
- Depth: deeper ink placement requires more treatment.
- Age: older tattoos have usually faded somewhat and often need fewer sessions.
- Location: areas with better circulation tend to clear faster than extremities.

Can I get a cover-up afterwards?+
